Cyclone Nargis swept across southern Myanmar on the evening of 2 May 2008, leaving a trail of death and destruction before tapering off the next day. Winds from the cyclone reached as high as 200 kph, the storm that hit Myanmar two months ago – is still visible. But meanwhile WFP has reached over 684,000 beneficiaries with food rations.
